Every season of life teaches us something — if we are willing to listen.

There was a time when I pursued Reiki certification as part of my journey into holistic healing. I was passionate about understanding emotional, spiritual, and spiritual restoration, and I invested in learning tools that could help people heal.

At that time, I was hungry for growth.

Hungry for knowledge.

Hungry to serve.

Reiki is commonly described as a Japanese healing technique focused on energy balancing and stress reduction. Many people experience relaxation, emotional release, and mental clarity through its practice.

Even while certified, my work was always different.

Every session was covered in prayer.

Every encounter was submitted to God.

Every client was approached with discernment and accountability.

I did not rely on ritual or technique.

I relied on God.

As my spiritual walk deepened, I began to understand the importance of spiritual purity and undivided devotion.

Scripture teaches:

“You shall have no other gods before Me.” — Exodus 20:3

“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.” — 1 Corinthians 10:21

“To obey is better than sacrifice.” — 1 Samuel 15:22

I realized that while my heart was sincere, the label no longer reflected the foundation of my work.

What I was truly practicing was:

• Spiritual alignment

• Emotional accountability

• Deliverance work

• Prayer-based restoration

• Lifestyle correction

That is not technique-based energy healing.

That is Spirit-led transformation.

So I chose obedience.

“Come out from among them and be separate.” — 2 Corinthians 6:17

I removed what no longer aligned with my calling — not out of fear, but out of reverence.

Since that decision, my work has deepened.

My discernment has sharpened.

My impact has multiplied.

Today, my practice is rooted in deliverance, spiritual alignment, and holistic wellness stewardship guided by biblical truth, prayer, and discipline.

My journey reflects growth, not rejection.

Refinement, not rebellion.

Alignment, not confusion.

Every season prepared me for this one.

All glory belongs to God.
