Why Healing Requires Responsibility

Why Healing Requires Responsibility

Healing is not passive.

It requires participation.

Many seek healing while avoiding responsibility — but restoration cannot occur where accountability is absent. Growth requires honesty with oneself, even when that honesty is uncomfortable.

Scripture tells us:

“Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness.” — 2 Corinthians 7:1

This cleansing is internal work. It asks us to release old patterns, confront misplaced attachments, and take ownership of our choices.

Healing is not something done to you.

It is something you engage in.

At Pure Intentions Bre, sessions are designed to support this process — not replace it. The work invites reflection, discipline, and clarity so that change is sustainable, not temporary.

Responsibility is not a burden.

It is the gateway to freedom.
