Description

The Root Chakra, also known as Muladhara in Sanskrit, is the first of the seven main chakras in the body according to Hindu and Buddhist beliefs. It is located at the base of the spine in the tailbone area and is associated with feelings of safety, grounding, and physical identity.Sessions can be done in person or distance via zoom/FaceTime but will require you to be in a quiet place with headphones.

Here are some key aspects of the Root Chakra:

1. Color: The Root Chakra is often represented by the color red, symbolizing strength, vitality, and physical survival.

2. Element: The Root Chakra is associated with the element of Earth, representing stability, solidity, and grounding.

3. Physical Associations: Physically, the Root Chakra is connected to the spine, rectum, legs, arms, and circulatory system. Issues with these areas, such as lower back pain or problems with the legs or feet, might indicate an imbalance in this chakra.

4. Emotional and Spiritual Associations: On an emotional and spiritual level, the Root Chakra is associated with basic survival needs, such as food, water, shelter, and safety, as well as your sense of grounding and connection to your body and the physical world. When balanced, it promotes feelings of security and encourages exploration and healthy physical activity. When blocked, it can lead to feelings of fear, insecurity, and disconnection from the physical world.

5. Balancing the Root Chakra & Opening will be done if needed.

Remember, it's always important to listen to your body and mind when working with chakras. If you feel you have a severe or persistent imbalance, it may be beneficial to seek help from a Certified Reiki Master or therapist.
